If communication is SO important, why can it be so hard?

Communication is so important in ALL of our relationships. Being honest about who we are, what we need and what we want, minimizes stress and allows for a deeper connection and freedom, for both ourselves and those in our lives.

If this is true, then why do we sometimes have a hard time fully expressing ourselves? What have we learned in the past about sharing our thoughts, that makes it feel uncomfortable to do so in the present moment? And best of all, how would our lives change for the better if we opened up and stopped hiding? (Hint: Wonderful!)

Whether you feel afraid of saying what you think at work, feel guilty about sharing a desire with a loved one or just feel guarded over-all, what do you need so that you can show up as you really are?
