Take a break and start again

I’m the kind of person who sets her sights on something and then dives into making it happen.

I’m really in tune with the feelings I get in my body when my intuition is saying “yes!” Once that happens, I can’t wait to bring an idea to life.

But when the project is something that will take a very long time to complete (or one which never really has a finish line) I get so focused on my goal, that I forget to create balance in my life. Can you relate?

I forget that I need to fill myself up with experiences I love, spend time with friends, have fun and do things that feed my soul. I forget that in order to continue with my output, I need to generate some input.

These last few weeks have been a good reminder of that. As I’ve re-engaged with people and activities I love, it’s energizing and reassuring to remember that my life is multi-dimensional, not singularly focused!

It’s helpful to remember that you can feel frustrated and give up, or take a break and start again.

What fills you up when you’ve been depleted? I’d love to know!
