Learn to say "no"
Learn when it’s time to say “no.” There’s a difference between the willingness to compromise and be flexible, versus when your efforts at making things work is unappreciated and taken for granted.
At these times, it’s a good idea to check in with yourself to see what it is that YOU need. Communicate that in a way that you can feel good about, and let go of the fear of how it will be received.
You can’t make everyone happy all the time, but you do need to be true to what’s important to you.
